One of the BIGGEST reasons I love photography and what makes my style my style, is that I LOVE to capture the relationship and love between people. This is why I love weddings (and those in-between moments that you might miss), families (even the messy, crazy parts), and lifestyle newborns (especially when they include Gordon – the Doerfler’s dog).
Getting to use your home as the backdrop for your new family’s photo session makes these moments extra special because baby Johanna will be able to look back and see how her home and life started when she was born. Plus she’ll get to see just how much her parents and pup love her!
As you look through these special moments captured for a lifetime, please take special notice of the ones including Gordon, the dog! His expressions say so much : pride, joy, giving up being the baby, and love. He had us rolling in laughter and I think he adds just that little something extra special!
Plus, Emily & Jared let me continue my white pumpkin obsession with their sweet, sweet, beautiful Johanna. 🙂
