Photographing your wedding day details is one of my absolute favorite parts of your wedding day! Most often, I begin your wedding day by collecting your details from you and finding a small space to stylize and photograph them to best represent the style of your day!
By doing this, it allows me to prepare and and get my creative side warmed up for the day! I photograph a bride’s details in a way that matches and showcases the style of the entire wedding day. So essentially, the details set the stage for the look of the whole wedding! I love having ample time to stylize and shoot everything from the dress, to your perfume, and the earrings your grandma handed down to you!
In order to have enough time to do your details justice and photograph them beautifully, it’s important to have all of your details gathered together in one place! I ask my brides to place all of the details you’d like photographed in one box or bag the day before your wedding day. This way, you can just grab the bag, bring it to your getting ready room and have the assurance that you have everything you need! You can even assign one of your personal attendants to be in charge of the bag for you!
Not only does that ensure that you have everything you need, but it also allows me to be able to walk in on your wedding day, say hello, give you a big hug, and then begin shooting all your beautiful details! No more searching through all of the separate bags looking for each detail and wasting precious shooting time!
So without further ado, here is my top 10 list of items to have ready in your Wedding Detail Bag!
