“If a photographer cares about the people before the lens and is compassionate, much is given. It is the photographer, not the camera, that is the instrument.” – Eve Arnold
I love capturing the honest, true, and authentic. Emotion is my fire. There is no moment, look, or touch too small that it is not worth getting noticed.
One thing that sets me apart from other photographers is my attention to detail and my ability to observe and capture those “in-between” moments that can sometimes be the most meaningful. It is these small moments of time that need to be “paused” in order to truly capture the big pictures (yes, pun intended). My heart yearns to capture and pause these precious, fleeting moments for you.
Hi! I’m Juliana! I am Owner and Lead Photographer of Juliana Sabo Photography! Photography has always been my passion…I started with disposable cameras (remember those?) and went through countless of them before securing the funds for my first digital camera! I wanted to study photography in college, but my dad wouldn’t let me, as it was not a steady income. I decided to study x-ray and radiation therapy instead…which my dad found absolutely hilarious as I was still taking “pictures”! Fast forward a couple years and I meet Stosch, my now husband! We dated a few years, he learned of my love for photography, and set out to make my dreams come true. He gifted me my first “fancy” camera in 2012 and the rest is history! My love and experience has grown and I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing people along the way!
Meet Stosch! We are a husband and wife team…in every aspect of our lives! Not only is Stosch my second shooter (and amazing do-it-all master) for each wedding, but he is also my support for anything and everything. While I spend hours editing, he will have the dishes washed, the laundry done, the house clean, supper cooked, the lawn groomed, the cars washed…you get the point. He is my best friend, my greatest love, and my biggest blessing. He makes crying babies laugh, scorching heat turn into cooling shade, and climbs the highest mountain to help me achieve the perfect photo. There are times I wish I had a 3rd shooter so I could have pictures of him doing his magic behind me, making that crying baby laugh. Now THAT would be a great photo. I guarantee you are going to love him (almost) as much as I love him! 😉
